Angelina Jolie took a style cue from Meghan Markle and looks like a royal herself

Between filming blockbuster movies and traveling the world to raise awareness for important causes, it’s rare to see Angelina Jolie gussied up at a public event these days. But Jolie attended the Service of Commemoration and Dedication of the Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George in London on June 28th looking like a member of the royal family. The A-list actor and director channeled Meghan Markle’s recent style in a gorgeous dove gray cowl-neck dress.

Jolie’s stunning ensemble included matching gloves and a chic fascinator over her low bun, but it was the slightly off-the-shoulder look that gave us serious Markle vibes. The custom pale dress was actually designed by Ralph & Russo, who fashion watchers predicted (we now know, incorrectly) Markle would wear to her wedding.

Since her big day, Markle has opted for pale, neutral colors like cream and blush, and clearly favors the boat neckline that was similar to the one on her wedding gown. Jolie’s gray dress is in a similar vein and appropriately royal.

The combination of the fascinator and gloves takes Jolie’s outfit to a whole new level.

She complemented her look with a gold brooch and silver purse, both of which have a vintage feel.

Her accessories, including the hat and gloves, tie the look together and elevate it to another tier of ultra-glamorous.

Angelina’s subtle yet striking makeup is both timeless and elegant.

As long as these two social change-driven women keep taking fashion cues from each other, they’ll look incredible. They both have amazing taste and it’s a delight to think about what they’ll wear next.
