Angus Cloud Cracks Jokes, Makes His “Abigail” Costars Laugh on Set in Sweet Gag Reel Video (Exclusive)

Late actor Angus Cloud starred in 'Abigail' opposite Melissa Barrera, Dan Stevens, Kathryn Newton and more

Angus Cloud knew how to get his Abigail costars to break out into laughter.

In a blooper reel from the horror-comedy shared exclusively with PEOPLE, the actor — who died in July 2023 at age 25 — makes jokes on set and gets smiles and laughs out of his fellow cast members, including Dan Stevens and Kathryn Newton.

"This place is fire. And it's got a fire," Cloud says in one moment, circling a living room on a bike and pointing to the fireplace. The camera cuts to Newton, now 27, who laughs and says, "What? Come back again!"

During another moment, Newton is heard off camera asking Cloud if he has a knock-knock joke to share. He can be heard responding, "Yo mama, knocking on my door." Stevens and costar Will Catlett chuckle at the joke.

In April, Newton praised late Euphoria alum Cloud and her time working with him on Abigail.

"He just made me better. He made me cooler. And he made me a better actor. He's one of the best actors I've ever worked with," she told Variety.

"He was so fresh, so spontaneous," she added. "... He's the best. I love him so much. You don't know why you get a job sometimes, and I feel like that was why, maybe: Just to learn from him."
