Ant McPartlin will return to work on Tuesday tomorrow, just one week after he became a dad for the first time according to recent reports.

The 48-year-old Geordie TV host welcomed son Wilder Patrick with his wife Anne-Marie Corbett last week. The pair gushed over their new family arrival on social media, with Ant confessing he was a "mess" following the birth.

Ant, who the Mirror reports was snapped walking his dogs near their London home, has been in a baby bubble with his family. However he will be thrust straight back into work from tomorrow, as he presents The Prince's Trust Awards at the Theatre Royal.

He will be joined at the event in London's Drury Lane with his best pal and sidekick Declan Donnelly. The television duo have been fronting the show for more than a decade. The Prince's Trust took to social media to share the news.

They wrote on Twitter: "We're rolling out the red carpet and that can only mean one thing… The Prince’s Trust and @TKMaxx_U K & @HomesenseUK. Awards are TOMORROW! Join us on Facebook, YouTube or TikTok tomorrow from 15:45 to catch all the action live from the red carpet!"

They reportedly launched the "final series" back in February, although Ant will return to screens for Britain's Got Talent live shows. Discussing his decision to take a break, Ant hinted what's next for the beloved duo in an interview with Flaunt magazine.

He said: "A lot, we do the show and then Britain's Got Talent, but on a more personal level, part of the reason we're pausing Takeaway is we need a break ourselves, and we need to spend some time with our family. We've both got children that we need to spend time with for a little bit."

Ant and wife Anne-Marie were flooded with congratulatory messages following their arrival of their new son last week, however it was Ant's tattoo which sparked a lot of conversation in the announcement, as it had never been seen before.

The baby reveal showed a family tree inked on his shoulder, with the names Amzie, Daisy, Poppy, Bumble, Milo and Hurley, weaved into its branches. It names his wife, step-children and beloved dogs.

Alongside the snap of Ant proudly holding his son, they captioned the Instagram post: "Welcome to the family. Wilder Patrick Mcpartlin. Born, 14/05/24 at 8.54am Baby is beautiful, Mummy's a legend, Sisters are over the moon. Dad's a mess."

A represenative for Ant has been contacted for comment on this story.
