Barry The Amazing Bedlington Terrier Swaps His Trike For An Open-Top Rolls-Royce

Barry the Bedlington terrier is clearly going up in the world - having swapped his tricycle for a Rolls-Royce.

The adorable pooch became a Web star earlier this year after he was caught on camera riding the three-wheeler.

But now he’s upgraded his mode of transport - and has been filmed cruising around in the miniature classic open-top car.

Hilarious footage sees him appearing to use his front paws to guide the steering wheel as the electric vehicle pootles along.

But while it looks like Barry has got full control of the car, it’s actually owner Wayne Sowerby who is helping him navigate the roads via a remote control.

“He is such a character,” said Wayne, from Kirkby Stephen in Cumbria.

“His balance must be second to none as he poses with his front paws on the wheel while sat on the seat,” he added.

Wayne and partner Kate Hayllar said Barry, who they lovingly describe as “lazy,” started off riding skateboards when he was a puppy.

Now, he can perch on top of a trike - and “drive” the open-top car.

“Kate and I come up with all the ideas between us, but we haven’t got a clue what to do next,” said Wayne.

“But it could be absolutely anything, he’s so easy going,” he added.
