ITV is launching a new period drama whodunit, while the BBC will be charting actor Tommy Jessop's quest to move his career forward in Hollywood as a person with Down Syndrome.

The UK is buzzing with excitement as England are set to take on Spain during the Women's World Cup final on Sunday, 20 August.
ITV1 and the BBC will be showing the match live on Sunday and the coverage will begin at 10.15am with kick off set to start at 11am.
Monday 21 August, 9pm: Tommy Jessop Goes to Hollywood | BBC One
Tommy Jessop is setting out to create and star in his own superhero film, and he is ready to take on Hollywood to make the project happen.
The Line of Duty actor, who was born with Down Syndrome, has always dreamed of landing a leading role and so he wants to make a movie about a superhero named Roger with the help of his filmmaker brother Will, and the pair explore the actor's experiences as a person with the condition to inform the movie.
Monday 21 August, 9pm: The Confessions of Frannie Langton | ITV1
In ITV's adaptation of Sara Collins debut novel, viewers will be transported into the world of Frannie Langton, a woman born into slavery who is now fighting to tell her own story after being accused of murder.
The period drama follows Frannie as she is employed by couple George and Marguerite Benham as a maid, and she soon embarks on a romance with Marguerite. But when they are murdered and Frannie is found in the bed beside Marguerite she is blamed, so she is keen to clear her name and discover who did it.
Monday 21 August, 9pm: Top Guns - Inside the RAF | Channel 4
Channel 4 are going behind the scenes of the RAF to bring viewers an exciting documentary series about the workings of the military unit.
A six-part series, Channel 4 has been given unprecedented access to RAF Lossiemouth's fighter jets, warplanes and service personnel to deliver an informative documentary.
Tuesday 22 August: Rosie Jones' Disability Comedy Extravaganza | UKTV Play
Comedian Rosie Jones is bringing back her Disability Comedy Extravaganza for UKTV Play, which will showcase the talents of disabled comedians from across the UK.
With Jones hosting, the special will see Eshaan Akbar, Joshua Robertson, Harriet Dyer, Jo Coffey, Jamie MacDonald, Joe Wells, McClaine Beirne, Marjolein Robertson, Markus Birdman, Spring Day, Matty Oxley and Cerys Bradley take the mic.
Tuesday 22 August: Ahsoka | Disney+
Rosario Dawson returns as Ahsoka Tano in the latest story from the Star Wars universe, Ahsoka, with the Jedi taking on new challenges and reuniting with olds friends from her past.
The series will be a delight for old and new Star Wars fans alike as it delves deeper into the story of the character who first appeared in animated form in The Clone Wars and Rebels.
Other characters from these animated universes who will debut in live-action include Lars Mikkelsen's villain Grand Admiral Thrawn and Natasha Liu Bordizzo's Sabine Wren.
Wednesday 23 August, 9pm: Never Mind the Buzzcocks season 3 | Sky Max and NOW
Music quiz show Never Mind the Buzzcocks is back for its third season, bringing Noel Fielding, Daisy-May Cooper, Jamali Maddix and Greg Davis together again for a new episodes of the comedy panel show.
The new series will have nine episodes and a Christmas special for viewers.
Wednesday 23 August: Invasion season 2 | Apple TV+
Apple TV+'s epic sci-fi series Invasion is back with its second season, which will chart an ongoing alien invasion through the perspective of different characters across the globe.
It stars Sam Neill, Shamier Anderson, Golshifteh Farahani, Firas Nassar and Shioli Kutsuna.
Thursday 24 August, 9pm: Ambulance season 11 | BBC One
The BBC is also bringing back its docu-series Ambulance which gives the public a look behind the curtain at how emergency services work and operate.
Following paramedics, phone operators and emergency doctors around the country, Ambulance gives viewers a realistic look at the workings of the NHS.
