Boy remains in hospital after being hit by bus near Folkestone

A boy remains in hospital after being hit by a bus in Sandgate Esplanade. The incident happened on 6.20pm on Saturday, June 29.

Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance service and an air ambulance. Traffic was diverted while police dealt with the incident.

"The pedestrian, a boy, was flown to a London hospital," a Kent Police spokesperson said. SECAmb has been approached for a comment.

The crash happened in the same area where seven-year-old Will Brown was killed. The young boy was hit by two vehicles on the A259 Sandgate Esplanade in December.
