The famous presenting duo shared a selfie in the back of a car on their official Twitter account. Playfully captioning it: “#BGT 2019. Audition day 1. The boys are back in town.”

McPartlin pulled out of hosting last year’s Britain’s Got Talent halfway through and cancelled his Saturday Night Takeaway and I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! hosting roles.
Holly Willoughby stepped in to replace him on I’m a Celebrity, and the reality shows proved to be a massive ratings success despite it being the first time in its 16 years history McPartlin was absent.
During his time away from television work, McPartlin attended The Priory rehab centre, was fined £86,000 for his drink-driving offence and waslis served a 20-month driving ban.
This formal statement was released by McPartlin’s representative in July: ‘Ant McPartlin today announces he will continue to take a break from all television presenting roles until 2019. Ant will not present ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’ in November this year.’
He also divorced his wife of 11 years, Lisa Armstrong, in October. Armstrong, a television make-up artist, was allegedly fired from Britain’s Got Talent shortly after it was announced her ex-husband would return to hosting the show.
Britain’s Got Talent is expected to return to ITV this spring.
