Bruno Tonioli has admitted that he is often a 'nervous wreck' backstage at Britain's Got Talent, as he and the rest of his colleagues prepare to go live to the nation with this year's semi finals in just a few days time.

Having been on Strictly Come Dancing for close to two decades, popular entertainment expert Bruno made the switching to join the BGT panel last year, immediately causing chaos when he hit the Golden Buzzer twice on his first day in the job. Just like on Strictly, when he was known for his elaborate and OTT critiques of the contestants, Bruno has been TV gold on Britain's Got Talent and this coming week the ITV show will dominate primetime schedules for its semi finals and grand finale.

After the final audition show of 2024 airs on Saturday, May 25, the live knockouts will begin on Monday and air every single night on ITV1 from 8-10pm, in the lead up to the Britain's Got Talent final on Sunday, June 2.

Bruno previewed what was to come during an appearance on Friday's This Morning and, as well as advising the remaining hopefuls not to 'get in their heads' about their performances, he admitted that, despite all of his years of experience in the industry, he's still often full of nerves before stepping out on stage.

Speaking to hots Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, he explained: "Before I do a show, I still have terrible nerves. I'm like...." as he stood up and began to shake to demonstrate just how tense he gets backstage, as he then added: "It's because i care. But instead of letting that stop you, allow it to give you the energy to express yourself."
