A bus stop is cordoned off this morning with blood splatters seen within the tape.

The stop on Blackburn Road, Astley Bridge has crime scene tape around it - although it's still in use for passengers to board buses.

A police officer is currently on the scene and the tape extends down the pathway.

The stop is near Turkis Chargrill and The Dutch Fishmen.
