CCTV appeal after till stolen from café

POLICE are issuing CCTV images of a man they would like to identify after a report of a burglary in Dorchester.

It is reported that a man forced entry to the Creams dessert café in Dray Horse Yard, where he caused criminal damage to the glass door and stole the till containing cash.

Police Constable Anthony Elswood, of Dorchester police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident and I am now issuing CCTV images of a man I would like to identify.

“I would ask anyone who knows of his identity to please contact us.”

The burglary was reported at around 6.30am on Sunday, June 23, but police have released the information today.
