Billy Zane to Return for ‘Zoolander’ Sequel

Billy Zane is set to join the cast of Paramount’s “Zoolander 2,” starring Ben Stiller.

Stiller announced the news on his Instagram account with Zane disguised as Owen Wilson’s character Hansel.

He joins original stars Stiller, Owen Wilson and Will Ferrell as well as Penelope Cruz, who recently joined the long-awaited sequel. “Zoolander 2″ is set to hit theaters on Feb. 12, 2016.

Zane appeared in the original film in a small but memorable role, offering advice to Stiller’s Zoolander in a crucial moment.

Stiller and Wilson announced the film’s release date by walking in the Valentino show at Paris Fashion Week in March. The original “Zoolander” was released in 2001 and grossed $60 million worldwide on a budget of $28 million. The sequel is written by Stiller and Justin Theroux — who last teamed on “Tropic Thunder” — with Stiller set to direct.

Zane is repped by Underground.
