Charming country pub goes up for sale in Buckinghamshire village
A charming countryside village pub has been listed on the market for around £425,000.
The Buckinghamshire public house, located in Tingewick, is a freehold property and has been advertised for sale by property specialist Fleurets.
The Red Lion is a 19th century farmhouse with heaps of charm, and was once known for providing some of the best pub food in the county.
The divisional director of Fleurets, Elysia Wilson-Gunn said: “The property is currently closed but could create a strong food trade due to the large kitchen, utilising all internal trade areas.
“In the past the garden was a big draw for outdoor games for children and families in the summer months.”
The interior of the pub comprises of a traditional beamed area with working fireplaces, an attractive dining area, a large trade kitchen and three bedroom accommodation.
There is also a large semi-detached stone storage building within the plot, which could have potential for other uses, subject to planning permission.
The quintessential English pub was once considered one of Buckinghamshire’s hidden gems.
