Child hit by car at Kidlington supermarket car park

A child was hit by a car at a supermarket car park in Kidlington.

The incident occurred at around 4pm on Thursday, June 27, at the Sainsbury’s car park on Oxford Road, Kidlington.

A child was hit by a Mazda 2 and was left injured but did not require hospital treatment.

Thames Valley Police are investigating the incident and appealed to the public for more information on Friday.

A spokesperson for the force said: “We are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Kidlington at around 4pm yesterday (27/6).

“A Mazda 2 and a child were involved in the collision in Sainsbury's Car Park on Oxford Road.

“The child sustained minor injuries and did not attend hospital.
