Christine McGuinness says 'it's time' amid fresh break with mum after making 'amazing' change

Christine McGuinness has told fans 'it's time' as she takes on a solo adventure after a sunshine break with her mum. The model and TV personality has shared how she had ditched the UK in recent days with her beloved mum Joanne and shared a bunch of snaps on social media.

In the first image, Christine could be seen glowing as she stood on a balcony beside the sea, sporting a black vest top paired with wide-leg trousers, as she adjusted her sunglasses which had been pushed on top of her head. Other images and clips showed the mum-of-three and Joanne enjoying some mother-daughter bonding time.

"A little mummy mini break with my mum has been the best chill and self care a girl could wish for," Christine captioned the post to her 743,000 followers. She added: "'They say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one'. I get my dreamy head from her."

Christine also shared some of the images to her Instagram Stories with different captions as she wrote alongside a picture of a smiling Joanne as she sat by the beach: "A mother's job really is life long. I can't thank my mum for how much she's there for me," the former Real Housewives of Cheshire star typed with a face holding back tears emoji.

She added: "She's the one person I can guarantee will answer the phone whenever I call, and it's a lot! [crying laughing emoji] and I love being there for her too."

And fans were pleased to see the pair enjoying time together. @shirlston said: "She is looking really well. What an absolute blessing for you both." @asianman.58 commented: "Looking fabulous Christine. Regards to your mother and hoping you have a lovely and enjoyable break together."

Christine, however, has now revealed she and her mum are going their separate ways as she heads off on a solo trip. Sharing a picture of a palm tree-lined beach, she said: "Ok... It's time for me to go island hopping!!! I'm on my own little adventure this week and it's everything I needed for me right now #blessed."

It comes after Christine recognised her own progress. Sharing a post from Threads to her Instagram Story, it said: "A couple of months ago if someone asked me 'Have you sorted it? did you send that email? Have you made that call?' my answer was always, 'I'll sort it', knowing I was too exhausted, pressured and overwhelmed to sort anything!

"'Me now... 'Yes, yes I have!' Amazing what a difference a little time, patience and self-care can do." She also added to her Instagram followers: "I love this for me," alongside a red heart emoji.
