New beach huts have sprung up in Concert Square ahead of the summer.

Modo, which has been open in Liverpool city centre for almost 30 years, has opened a new area outside the bar. Opened in partnership with Southern Comfort, the Coco Club will be in place for the coming months.

Designers say they have have been influenced by party resorts such as Ibiza and Tulum in Mexico with the area featuring bamboo and palm leaf covered arches and beach huts. Each beach hut seats six guests and offers table service.
