Coleen Rooney seemingly slams recent claims that she is giving Wayne another chance

Coleen Rooney has broken her Twitter silence over husband Wayne’s arrest last week, seemingly slamming recent reports that she is willing to give him “one last chance” after he was caught driving drunk in another woman, Laura Simpson’s, car.

Coleen and Wayne’s relationship has barely been out of the headlines since the news broke but Coleen has remained silent, however, after speculation that she had forgiven the Everton footballer reached fever pitch she turned to social media.

Tweeting her 1.28million followers, Coleen said: “Would love to meet all these so called friends of mine who know me so well.”

She later added: “I was being sarcastic towards all these great sources the press have… Who I have probably never met in my life!

“I have the best friends.”

The tweets came after an apparent “friend” of Coleen’s told The Sun: “She’s furious and has been through every emotion.

“But after lots of discussion with close family and friends she’s concluded that she doesn’t want the marriage to end.

“She’s a mum of three with a fourth on the way and she’s passionate about keeping their family together.”

Pregnant Coleen was on holiday abroad with her and Wayne’s three children when he was arrested, with Laura later suggesting that she would have “spent the night” with Wayne had it not been for his arrest.

Recalling her night with the Everton footballer, Laura previously told the Mail Online: “Was I going to spend the night with him? Yes, perhaps, we hadn’t really discussed it.

“I’m not a marriage wrecker it was all playful fun and I’d had loads to drink. We had a kiss, a hug, some banter, harmless fun.

“When the bar was closing, one of Wayne’s pals came up to me and said ‘You know Wayne likes the look of you and wants to go somewhere with you’.”

After the news broke, Coleen jetted back to England from her holiday in Majorca to confront her husband, with an insider revealing that Coleen was feeling “livid and embarrassed”.

The pair first met in school at the age of 12, dating from the age of 16 and then marrying in June 2008.

Together, Coleen and Wayne are mum and dad to seven-year-old Kai, four-year-old Klay, and one-year-old Kit, with Coleen announcing last month that she is pregnant with their fourth child.
