In the wake of the arrest, Carla tries to remedy the situation, but is shocked when Thorne asks her out for dinner and makes a plea: he’ll drop the charges against Peter if he withdraws his complaint to the hospital.
But when Peter then finds the message asking Carla out, he decides to get revenge, first by calling the Gazette to see if they’ll run a story and then asking Aggie to risk her career to help him.
Summer faces rejection
It’s a turbulent week for Summer who’s seen first letting Aadi know that she’s fallen for someone else. But Aaron from her support group (who’s become the object of Summer’s affection) doesn’t react well when she opens up about her bulimia.
While he assures her that he’s in no way judging her, Aaron makes it clear that they ought not see each other outside of the group. Back in her bedroom, Summer stares at her refection, hating what she sees.
And when she subsequently tries to contact Aaron, her confidence gets another knock when her call goes straight to voicemail.
Abi seeks vengeance
Everything is suddenly looking more positive for Imran and Toyah, who are seen on Wednesday starting to organise a naming day for Alfie.
One person who won’t be attending, though, is Abi. Determined to turn the tables, she decides to film Ben as she clocks him buying some drugs.
Abi then gives him a choice: either he admits that Imran paid him to lie or she’ll share the footage of him buying illegal substances with both his bosses and the police. But which option will Ben end up going for?
Fiz and Tyrone – romance rekindled?
It feels like an inevitability that Fiz and Tyrone will reunite at some stage. And next week’s drama sees a definite frisson between them when Ty suggests that his ex stay to watch their favourite TV show together for old time’s sake.
And when Tyrone later offers to give her a lift home, Fiz can’t help but be touched and decides to show him round her new home. Are sparks set to fly for the two of them?
Tim can’t face the doctor
Sally offers to accompany Tim to his medical appointment but he’s adamant about attending on his own.
Later on, Kirk finds Tim dragging his heels outside the medical centre. But when he’s asked why he’s there, Tim does a runner and later lies to Sally, telling her his condition is nothing to worry about and perfectly normal following an operation.
Will Kirk be caught out?
Sarah tells Kirk that his main job at the factory is to now answer the phone. But when a call does come through, it’s Jacob who picks up. And, while pretending to be Kirk, he secures a huge order with a client who’s given Underworld the runaround for years.
When Sarah then suggests that Kirk next work his magic on Mr Needham, will the truth emerge about it being Jacob who really worked wonders?
