Danielle Lloyd has confessed that she feels “gutted” that Stacey Solomon has nabbed the baby name she wanted.

Loose Women star Solomon welcomed a daughter on 4 October and revealed last week that after much deliberation, she and fiancé Joe Swash had decided to call her Rose.

But Lloyd – who is expecting her first daughter – has now confessed that she had her eye on the pretty moniker herself.

She told OK! magazine: “We’ve also been thinking more about what we would like to call our little girl when she finally arrives.

"Sadly, Stacey Solomon chose Rose, which was one of our favourites!”

“We're gutted!" added the 37-year-old model.

Lloyd already has four sons and had made no secret of the fact that she was hoping to add a little girl to her brood.

The star shares sons Archie, 11, Harry, ten, and eight-year-old George with her ex Jamie O’Hara and has Ronnie, four, with her husband Michael O'Neill.

When she fell pregnant with her fifth child she said she was expecting to be told she had another boy on the way.

However, she was stunned when she went for a scan and was told that she and her husband were having a daughter.

"I burst into tears straight away, I just couldn’t believe it,” she previously told OK!

“I’m over the moon. I can’t really believe it, to be honest,” she went on. "I don’t think it will feel real until she arrives."
