Danny Dyer has explained the hidden health condition he was born with which has caused one of his testicles to swell. The former EastEnders actor, 46, was asked about his testicular health issue as he appeared on comedian Joe Lycett's Channel 4 show Late Night Lycett on Friday night (April 12).

"Now I've heard that you've got one big ball? Is it true, can you prove it and do you pop a satsuma down your speedos when you're on your holidays on the beach?," the former EastEnders legend was asked.

Danny revealed: "I have got a big b*******, f****** huge this b******." He added: "I aint got no room for a satsuma," before turning to host Joe Lycett for backup saying "I don't think...I can 't get my b****** out on telly."

A cheeky Joe started telling him 'You can do whatever you like' before holding his earpiece, adding 'They're just telling me we've got to move on.'

Danny previously revealed that he was born with a condition known as hydrocele, which has caused one of his testicles to swell. He said he might undergo a surgical procedure to reduce the build up of fluid, but doesn't appear to have gone ahead with it yet according to his comments on the show.

After undergoing an ultrasound, Dyer said he was advised that he could get it “drained” but that it would be considered cosmetic surgery. He spoke about the condition on Kathy Burke’s Where There’s A Will, There’s A Wake podcast.

He said: "When I started puberty, my b******* started f****** getting bigger. I went to have it ultra-sounded which was weird, and they said obviously it’s cosmetic surgery if you want to have it done … obviously I’m very attached to it, cause it’s attached to me."

He added: “But on some days, you look down and it does look like a little human head with wispy hair on the top. It’s just something I do feel I probably should f****** get it done.”

The NHS describes a hydrocele as “a collection of fluid around the testicle” that “is usually a benign (non-cancerous) condition caused by either over-production or under-drainage of fluid from the sac that contains the testicle”.
