Dealer from Birmingham caught with stash of drugs in Tamworth jailed

A county lines drug dealer from Birmingham who was caught with a supply of Class A drugs at a property in Tamworth has been put behind bars. Dillon Kelleher, 29, from Twickenham Road in Kingstanding was arrested back in October 2021 and a home in Crowden Road, Wilnecote was searched. Inside officers found 26 wraps of crack cocaine and heroin, more than £300 in cash and mobile phones.

Officers found Kelleher has been dealing in the Tamworth area after messages were found on the phones. He was charged with drug dealing and was due to appear at court when he pleaded guilty to supplying crack cocaine and heroin.

He then appeared for sentencing at Birmingham Crown Court on Wednesday (May 1) where he was jailed for four and three months.

Detective Sergeant Jonathan Bradbury, from Staffordshire Police, who dealt with the case, said: “I’m pleased we’ve been able to jail another dealer who was intent on distributing harmful drugs within our communities. Officers across the force are committed to proactively targeting drug supply and will continue to act on intelligence leads and reports from the public to bring these people to justice.”
