Doja Cat Delivers Sci-fi Glamour in Alien-inspired Silicone Corset, Hazmat Suit and More Looks at Coachella 2024 Performance

Among the performers who took the stage during the first weekend of Coachella 2024, Doja Cat displayed some of the most inventive fashion statements. The Grammy-winning recording artist’s wardrobe consisted of fabrics varied in texture and designs with idiosyncratic cuts.

The “Paint The Town Red” rapper and singer collaborated with her stylist and creative director Brett Alan Nelson on various looks. Designers and labels who worked on Doja Cat’s pieces for her Coachella performance included Timberland, Charlie Le Mindu and Entire Studios, among others.

Silicone Top and Boots

Doja Cat’s looks toyed with material, as seen in this ensemble in which the rapper and singer sported thigh-high boots with a futuristic silicone top that included muscled details on the torso, visible bra cups and bubbled sleeves. The look was made in partnership with Natasha Zinko.

Long Hair

For her long hair-inspired look, Doja Cat and Nelson collaborated with Charlie Le Mindu to bring their vision to life. The result was a combination of a wig and bodysuit that moved with the singer and rapper during her performance.

Hazmat Suit

At one point, Doja Cat also wore a white hazmat suit with sneakers and yellow gloves.

Dusted Yellow Bodysuit

Nelson collaborated with Off-White for this futuristic look complete with belted bodysuit and coordinated boots. The color scheme of the ensemble featured a dusted yellow hue.

Faux Fur Two Piece

Doja Cat wore this faux fur two-piece ensemble that also featured custom Timberland boots. The top and bottom of the look were styled by Nelson in collaboration with Entire Studios.

The first weekend of Coachella, held in Indio, Calif., from April 12-14, featured performances from Lana Del Rey, Billie Eilish, Gwen Stefani and Sabrina Carpenter, among others. Surprise performances also included Will Smith, who joined J. Balvin onstage. The second weekend of the music festival will continue from April 19 to April 21.
