Don’t look down: Amazing photo shows British tourists perched over stunning Norwegian cliff

Whatever you do, don’t look down.

That must have been the advice passed between these two intrepid British tourists who tried to peer over this amazing jagged cliff in Norway.

Jack Harding took this stunning photo of his girlfriend Emma and friend Mark as they waited for sunrise over Trolltunga.

The adventurers had trekked for six hours on top of a 12-hour drive from Sweden to see the beautiful scenery.

When they arrived, it looked like their view was going to be scuppered by fog, but the mist passed to give them the opportunity to take these awesome photos of mountains above a lake.

“When we finally made it to the top we couldn’t see a thing, only fog,” said Jack, 25, from Northallerton, Yorkshire.

“For a moment we thought that we had done this long drive and painful hike for nothing.

“We waited and waited and finally the clouds started to break.

“The fact that you can see the Norwegian lake through a small gap in the fog just gives you an idea of how small we really are in comparison to something so powerful.”

It may be powerful, but the cliff view is best avoided if you have a fear of heights.
