Attendees spent the day enjoying free refreshments and live entertainment.

They also got to tour the home.

The crowd also had afternoon tea in the sunshine, which was accompanied by a live performance by singer, Ian James.

The care home's chef also made special homemade cakes for the event.

Care Home Open Week is a nationwide initiative spearheaded by Championing Social Care, aimed at clearing up misconceptions about care homes and highlighting the care they offer.
