Elderly man burgled in his own Somerset home

Police are appealiing for information has been launched after an elderly man was burgled at his home in Somerset. A man in his 70s had his wallet and cash stolen during a burglary at his residence in The Butts area of Frome sometime overnight between Sunday, May 12 and the following morning.

During the early hours of Monday morning (May 13), Avon and Somerset Police said his bank cards were used fraudulently at a retail premises in Frome. Investigating officers are appealing for information and have issued a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to in connection to the incident.

The man in the images, who we want to speak to, is described as white, of slim build, and wearing a black coat, trousers, trainers, and cap.
