Dan is charged with GBH

DS Giles then reveals that nothing has been found on Lloyd’s devices to suggest he’s broken any laws – all of which results in Dan being charged with GBH. Fearing for the future, Dan will subsequently be seen necking whisky in the local woodland, which is where he’s eventually found by David. Opening up, Dan voices his worry that one moment of madness could wreck his life and leave him unable to look after Amelia and Esther.
After David helps him back to Dale Head, a drunken Dan blames his GBH charge on Amelia’s social media activity. And despite Vinny, Cain and Paddy attempting to help Dan see that everyone is on his side, he’s set to be left feeling even more wretched when Julie arrives at the Woolpack.
Clemmie runs away from home
Dawn learns to her surprise at the hospital that she’s 16 weeks pregnant, but resolves to give Clemmie an extra special birthday before breaking the news that she’ll soon have a sibling.
But as Clemmie opens her presents the next day, it’s clear to both Dawn and Billy that the youngster is in a subdued state. And soon enough, Clemmie will be seen admitting that no matter what she wishes for on her birthday, it won’t bring her mum back. Nicky then turns up unexpectedly with a card for Clemmie, but gets short shrift from Gabby who turfs him out.
The problem is, she also accidentally reveals Dawn’s pregnancy to Clemmie and Lucas in the process. Reeling, Clemmie grows convinced that she’ll be forced out of the family and, during an argument, she ends up pushing a dining stool into Dawn’s stomach. Dawn then collapses and is taken to A&E, while a guilt-ridden Clemmie surreptitiously lets herself out of Home Farm’s back door before vanishing into the night.
Will Marlon sack his new assistant?
Marlon is left feeling exasperated by the incompetence of his new assistant Gail in the Woolpack kitchen, but Charity ignores his pleas to sack her.
However, the next day, even Charity is growing increasingly unsettled by the many mistakes that Gail is making and so the decision is made to let her go. The trouble for Marlon is that he’s told by Charity to give Gail the boot.
In typical Marlon fashion, though, he ends up bonding with Gail over horror films rather than dismissing her. But will he ultimately be able to summon the courage to have the conversation he’s been swerving with his endearing but cackhanded assistant?
New arrival is attracted to Nicky
Finally, Jai’s cousin Suni arrives in the village ahead of the upcoming wedding and it’s not long before Nicky catches his eye.
But will he get wind of Nicky’s past actions, especially when Gabby lays into her former fiancé in front of the entire pub?
