Emmerdale: Who pushed Caleb? All the suspects and their motives
It's the latest whodunnit to rock the ITV soap, but who was capable of wanting Caleb dead?
Yes, it’s ‘soap whodunnit’ time once more, as Emmerdale’s scheming Caleb Miligan (William Ash) finds himself pushed over the edge of a woodland ridge after making a series of enemies in quick succession.
Just days after Kim Tate (Claire King) exposed Caleb's plot against her, a number of villagers will be seen returning from mysterious outings.
At the same time, Caleb’s unconscious body lies on the ground. But just who are the suspects of this attack, and what are their motives for targeting the newcomer?

Who attacked Caleb? Suspect list
Cain Dingle
Caleb’s half-brother Cain (Jeff Hordley) has been left seething after discovering that Caleb sabotaged his wife Moira’s (Natalie J Robb) farm as part of his plot to fool Kim. He’s already warned Caleb to steer clear from his family, but Caleb has moved into the B&B anyway.
The Dingles hold their traditional court to decide Caleb’s fate, and Moira later tries to stop Cain from taking revenge. But when Caleb goads him, Cain launches himself at him and has to be dragged away.
At the Woolpack, Caleb passes the time insulting those who have turned against him, but will this send Cain over the edge — or has he already planned to punish Caleb for his role in Butler’s Farm’s downfall?
Leyla Harding
After finding out the truth about Caleb’s intentions in the village, his on/off love interest Leyla (Roxy Shahidi) finds it hard to believe that he ever cared for her. She rejects an apology from Caleb, but later thaws towards him.

Unfortunately, this coincides with the reveal that Caleb has just spent the night with Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins). After this, Leyla’s friend David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) tries to support her and prevent her from suffering a drug relapse.
David promises Leyla that they will be able to watch Caleb’s comeuppance from the sidelines, but has Leyla already come up with her own way to teach him a lesson?
Will Taylor
Will (Dean Andrews) has come to see Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) as another daughter. He is simmering with anger after Nicky (Lewis Cope), on orders from dad Caleb, romanced Gabby and planned to marry her for the wealth she inherited for her young son Thomas — another Tate heir.
Nicky developed a conscience, and recently confessed not only to being gay, but also the entirety of Caleb’s vile plot. Gabby soon ends up in an altercation with Caleb, leaving Will more furious than ever. Might he be the one to follow Caleb and seek vengeance for innocent pawn Gabby?

Remember, Will’s wife Kim promised Gabby that Caleb would pay for what he had done. You'll notice that Kim isn't billed as a potential culprit, but fans will recall that she's not one for getting her hands directly dirty. So is Will involved on Kim's instruction, or is he acting on his own protective feelings for both Gabby and Kim?
Mackenzie Boyd
After Charity reveals to estranged husband Mack (Lawrence Robb) that she has slept with Caleb, Mack immediately squares up to him. But when Mack has time to cool down and decides to apologise, Caleb makes the situation worse and leaves Mack more enraged.
Mack then threatens that there will be consequences to Caleb’s behaviour. But are these just words which may come back to haunt him when Caleb is attacked, or does Mack’s jealousy influence this particular whodunnit?
Emmerdale airs Caleb's attack on Thursday, 15 June from 7.30pm on ITV.
