This Eye-Opening Docuseries Is A Top Show On Netflix Right Now

“America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders” is currently the third most popular show on Netflix, according to the platform’s public ranking system.

Released on June 20, the new docuseries follows the iconic cheer squad for the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys during the 2023-24 season. It was directed by Greg Whiteley, who also created the cheerleading-themed show “Cheer” and other sports docuseries like “Last Chance U” and “Wrestlers.”

“America’s Sweethearts” dives into the grueling audition process for the squad, the intense pressure to exude unnatural perfection as a member and the shockingly low pay for the job.

“House of the Dragon”

The top show on Max at the moment is “House of the Dragon.” The “Game of Thrones” prequel returned for a second season on June 16.

Starring Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy and Paddy Considine, “House of the Dragon” focuses on the reign of House Targaryen and the war of succession known as the “Dance of the Dragons.”

“Perfect Wife: The Mysterious Disappearance of Sherri Papini”

“Perfect Wife: The Mysterious Disappearance of Sherri Papini” is the most popular show on Hulu right now.

The three-part docuseries premiered on June 20 and tells the story of a California wife and mother who disappeared for three weeks in November 2016. After her return, the police found some inconsistencies in her story that uncovered a deeper plot.

“Criminal Minds: Evolution”

The police procedural “Criminal Minds: Evolution” is currently trending on Paramount+ following the debut of the new season on June 6.

Although “Criminal Minds” first premiered in 2005, the subtitle “Evolution” was added in 2022 for season 16, which marked a revival of the show after it ended in 2020. The series follows a group of criminal profilers working for the FBI as part of its Behavioral Analysis Unit.

“Camp Snoopy”

“Camp Snoopy” premiered on Apple TV+ on June 14. The new animated series in the Peanuts universe consists of 13 21-minute episodes.

As the title suggests, the show has a summertime theme ― following Snoopy and his “Beagle Scouts,” as well as Charlie Brown and his friends at Camp Spring Lake.
