Lochmaben Children’s Gala Day will be held tomorrow with a parade and family-orientated fun afternoon and the evening beat the retreat.

The parade assembly/judging on gala day is 10am to 11.45am at Castlehillgate and Kirk Loch Brae.

All floats, vehicles and walkers will join in the parade route, of Castlehillgate, Kirk Loch Brae, Mounseys Wynd, High Street, Queen Street, Townhead, Barras, Princes Street and Croft Terrace, from 11.45am to 1pm.

Minor delays should be expected while roads are closed for the parade.

Leading the celebrations will be this year’s Miss Lochmaben, Evie Gardiner, and her royal retinue includes attendants Carrie-Anne Wade and Millie McKie, Gala Prince Connor Wright and Gala Princess Elsie Telfer.
