Yahoo News Gemma Atkinson left 'overwhelmed' as she says 'thank you' after sweet observation over son
Gemma Atkinson has said she's been left 'overwhelmed' by the support of her fans and followers as she returned to screens. The Hits Radio host and her fiance Gorka Marquez were back on the telly with the second run of their own reality TV series.
They first appeared in their own reality TV series ahead of the arrival of their second child and it showed the pair opening up their lives and Greater Manchester home to the cameras as they documented their second pregnancy journey and the "absolute utter chaos of our day-to-day lives at home juggling work, dogs, toddlers and hormones."
Following the success of the show and the arrival of their second child, son Thiago, it was revealed in January that the pair would be letting the cameras back in to share more of their life unfiltered in the second series of Gemma and Gorka: Life Behind the Lens for UKTV’s free-to-air entertainment channel W and streaming service UKTV Play, this time for six episodes.

The new series then kicked off on Monday night (May 6) and ahead of episode one airing, Gorka shared a look at what fans can expect from the show which started with them introducing themselves and recalling when they met on Strictly before eventually dancing together later in a Christmas special of the hit show.
"We’re back!" Gorka, 33, declared alongside the post: "Our 2nd series of 'Gemma & Gorka: life behind the lens' starts tonight at 8pm on @wtvchannel @uktvplay." He added: "Thank you for sticking with us, we hope you enjoy our crazy family life…"
Gemma, meanwhile, later filmed a quick video which she shared with her own followers. She could be seen lying in bed as she said to the camera: "Thank you for all your lovely messages about the show. Crikey! I'm overwhelmed with how many lovely messages. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Episode two, same time next week. There are six episodes in total so there's lots to come."
She continued: "It was weird watching it back because we actually filmed it so long ago. We filmed that episode in January so there was things that I had forgot, like Mia farting all the time. She gets that from Gorka, obviously!" while her face jokingly suggested that may not be the case.
And speaking of Gorka, Gemma had earlier shared a sweet photo of their smiling nine-month-old son after she shared how her sister had taken the two kids up to Blackpool for a bank holiday day out. Alongside the sweet snap of Thiago, Gemma admitted: "Mini Gorks," with a red heart emoji.
It comes as the couple, who met on Strictly in 2017, count down the days until they're reunited. The couple are no strangers to spending chunks of time away from each other and their children due to work commitments and Gorka has already spent weeks away from home as he tours the country with his BBC One dance contest co-stars in the Strictly Come Dancing The Professionals UK Tour.
