We have our first look at Carrie Coon and her family from the new Ghostbusters movie.

Dipping back into his father Ivan Reitman's beloved paranormal-comedy franchise, director Jason Reitman has set this one up as a sequel to Ghostbusters 2 – effectively skipping the timeline of Paul Feig's 2016 female-centric reboot – and has now offered fans a behind-the-scenes look at production via social media.

Here, Reitman shows off Coon (in blonde mode) alongside Stranger Things' Finn Wolfhard and Captain Marvel's Mckenna Grace, who'll act as the central familial trio in Ghostbusters 3.

Ivan and Jason are also part of the shot, giving the caption "The Family's All Here #GB20" a double-edged meaning.

To our knowledge, the movie doesn't currently have an official title, but the clapperboard here states a production name of Rust City, which will be used to throw off Canadian locals as the shoot takes place in Alberta.

You guys ready to get rolling?

But the director didn't finish there with his on-set teases, as Reitman also uploaded the above image onto Instagram – showing off a rusted Ecto-1 vehicle.

The caption reads: "You guys ready to get rolling?", and his followers took no time at all in responding either.

One wrote "Oh f**k yes", whilst cast member Wolfhard replied: "HELL YEAH".

He ain't afraid of no ghosts.

Ghostbusters 3 will beam into cinemas on July 10, 2020.
