Girl, 17, missing from Margate after last sighting at train station

A 17-year-old girl has gone missing from Margate for nearly 24 hours, after last having been seen at the train station.

Tilly Carter was last seen in the area of Margate train station at around 5pm yesterday (Saturday 22 June 2024) and enquiries by Kent Police officers have linked her to locations in Folkestone and Dover.

The public is now asked to contact police if they have nay information. The 17-year-old is described as being 5’9” tall and of slim build, with dark brown shoulder length hair and brown eyes She is thought to have been wearing a sage green coloured dress with a black hoodie when she was last seen.

Kent Police have released a picture of Tilly as part of their appeal. She can be seen with brown hair shoulder length hair and fringe. Anyone who has seen her is urged to call 999 quoting 22-1494.
