Gogglebox Viewers Fury As Steph And Dom Are ABSENT From Last Nights Episode

Dear Goggle Box – you are, without a doubt, one of our favourite excuses NOT to socialise with our peers on a Friday night. Never before has a night in front of the box been more appealing than 3 litres of rosé wine in O'Neils.

HOWEVER – last night we were left feeling vulnerable, emotional and bereft when we realised we’d made it through an entire episode without our beloved upper-class functioning alcoholics – Steph and Dom.

To quote Justin Bieber, if we may – WHERE ARE YOU NOW THAT I NEED YOU.

Yes, the most popular couple on the show were absent throughout the entire episode last night, leaving many wondering if they’d actually fallen over behind the sofa for good.

Twitter was figuratively ablaze with disbelief last night Abbie Earl tweeted, ‘Where are Steph and Dom though I’m stressed’, whilst 'Luce’ wrote, 'Complaining that I haven’t seen Steph and Dom yet….where are they??? They are the best couple!!!!’

Well we don’t like to pick favourites here, Luce, but we were as stressed about this as you were.

But just before we were about to put our head in oven, the Goggle Box production team got wind of this palpable sense of panic and frustration, and confirmed that the couple would be back next week, tweeting that, 'Steph & Dom back in glorious technicolour next week #chinchin’.

Well, thank god for that eh? Not sure we’d have been able to cope if we’re honest.

Thankfully though, reigning inspirational woman in our lives - Scarlett Moffatt – is still in the show and still imparting words of nuanced wisdom unto us.

A particular highlight this week was when the Moffatt gang sat down to watch Lady Chatterley’s Lover. After complaining about how much boob was on screen, Scarlett correctly informed her mother that “You can’t show a cock and balls on BBC1, can ya?”
