Grieving Family Forced To Take Coffin To Funeral By BUS After Hearse Broke Down

A grieving family were forced to take their loved one’s coffin to a graveyard by public bus, after their funeral hearse broke down.

Shocked passengers filmed the sight of the coffin being hauled onto the bus and laid in the middle aisle after the kind driver stopped to give the family a lift.

Their funeral car broke down on the way to the ‘Garden of Heaven’ graveyard in the city of Alderetes in northern Argentina’s Tucuman Province.

Images show the polished coffin in the centre aisle of the bus, while outside the hearse has its bonnet up with its driver talking on his phone.

Teresa Brandan Martinez, whose late cousin was in the coffin, uploaded a video of the incident and described how the bus driver had stopped and allowed them to drag the coffin on board.

She wrote on social media: “This happened yesterday when we were taking my cousin to the cemetery. What kind of sh*t company leaves you stranded at the side of the road? But what an amazing bus driver to let us take him on the bus.

"The company will pay for what they have done, my cousin did not deserve this. He was an excellent person.”

Some passengers were reportedly angry about the coffin being allowed on the bus, complaining loudly.
