Hail Falls in Indiana Amid Tornado Warning

Hail fell across Portage, Indiana, on Tuesday, May 7, as weather officials warned of tornadoes across parts of the state.

The National Weather Service issued a tornado watch for northern Indiana and southwest Michigan until 9pm on Tuesday night.

The primary threats were large hail and tornadoes with isolated damaging winds possible, the agency said.

Black Bear Falls From Tree After Being Tranquilized
A bear fell from a tree onto a tarp after it was tranquilized in Lakewood, Washington, on Wednesday, May 15, footage posted to Facebook shows.The Lakewood Police Department said that the black bear had been spotted “cruising the neighborhoods” in the area.
