Hollyoaks' Lucas Hay faces accusation in Frankie story

Lucas Hay will face a shocking accusation in Frankie Osborne's Hollyoaks storyline.

The teens have been dating — and have been using one another for support due to the trauma they have both been facing.

Nobody knows that Lucas has been facing pressure from Hollyoaks High headteacher Carter Shepherd to repress his sexuality while Frankie is struggling in silence over being sexually abused by twin brother JJ.

In upcoming scenes, Frankie's father Darren is planning to have a vasectomy following Frankie's recent harsh words about his parenting.

Nancy assures Darren that he's been a great father and the best thing he can do for Frankie is to support her.

After cancelling his surgery, Darren is shocked to discover an empty contraceptive packet and assumes Lucas may have assaulted Frankie after seeing how distressed his daughter seems.

Darren has to be held back by Freddie Roscoe when he accuses Lucas of assault, before Frankie makes up a story about having consensual sex with Lucas.

Freddie tries to advise Darren on how to proceed, insisting it's important for him to support Frankie. He reminds Darren that he's not in touch with his own daughter Lexi due to past mistakes.

When Darren tries to smooth things over with Frankie, JJ interrupts their heart-to-heart conversation. Darren later shares with Suzanne that he thinks Frankie needs counseling.

These scenes air next week.

Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
