Hull FC confirm Franklin Pele departure with immediate effect

Hull FC have confirmed that Franklin Pele has been released from the remainder of his contract with immediate effect. Hull Live exclusively reported that the club had parted ways with the prop on Tuesday, with the Black and Whites posting a short statement this Wednesday morning.

Pele was one of four new quota signings for the 2024 season. However, he only managed eight appearances at the club, scoring one try. He was infamously sent off on his Hull debut and, consequently, suspended for three games.

The 23-year-old spent some time at York Knights on loan in the Championship, with Pele now seeking 'playing opportunities elsewhere.'
