Super League reached the halfway point of the regular season over the weekend, with Hull FC posting the biggest figure of the round. The Black and Whites recorded an attendance of 12,166 for their MKM Stadium return as Simon Grix got his first win in interim charge of the club.

Hull were well worth it, too, defeating Leeds Rhinos 18-10 to end their 11-game losing streak. The game saw some fitting tributes for the late Rob Burrow pre-match, with Liam Sutcliffe and Cam Smith laying wreaths on the pitch and Scott Taylor delivering the match ball.

Elsewhere, Hull KR announced another sell out at Craven Park ahead of their fixture against Huddersfield Giants. The Robins ran out 32-6 winners, with former Hull back-row forward Andre Savelio sent off on his Giants debut.

In the South of France, 9,480 fans watched Leigh Leopards keep up their top six hopes with a 10-2 victory over Catalans Dragons. The Leythers were backed by over 1,500 fans in Perpignan, with the French club refusing to sell more tickets to Leigh midweek.

At the Halliwell Jones Stadium, 9,257 fans watched Salford Red Devils defeat Warrington Wolves 25-14. The win keeps the Red Devils on course to achieve their play-off target.

Over at Castleford, 6,965 saw Wigan Warriors edge past the Tigers 10-8 at Wheldon Road. Castleford led for large parts of the game, but Wigan did enough to edge home after their Challenge Cup victory over the Wire earlier this month.

Playing at the Twickenham Stoop, London Broncos recorded a crowd of 4,600 for their clash against St Helens. The Saints ran out 52-6 winners and currently top the Super League table, although Wigan have a game in hand.
