I’m A Celebrity 2016: Strictly stars Ola Jordan and Aliona Vilani to join jungle line-up?

Former Strictly Come Dancing stars Ola Jordan and Aliona Vilani could be about to switch their dancing shoes for jungle camp boots as both professionals are reportedly in line for a place on the hit ITV reality show.

The ladies famously quit the BBC One series last year and now ITV bosses are keen for either Ola, 33, and Aliona, 32, to sign up for a stint down under.

A source told The Mirror: “Both Aliona and Ola are absolutely gorgeous and were massively popular on Strictly, but there would only be room for one.

“ITV have not confirmed any of the names for the new show, but they have been looking at Ola, they think she could be TV gold.

“They are also interested in Aliona as she was last year’s Strictly winner and is yet to sign up to another show.”

Surprisingly, only one Strictly star has ever braved the Bushtucker Trials before – Vincent Simone, 37, competed in the 2013 series, but underwhelmingly finished in 10th place.

Alongside Ola and Aliona, other names lined to the I’m A Celebrity 2016 line-up include former campmate Craig Charles, Cheryl’s ex Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, Made In Chelsea’s Spencer Matthews and Lauren Hutton, Michael Jackson’s former doctor Conrad Murray, Absolutely Fabulous star Helen Lederer, Team GB Olympic gymnast Louis Smith, as well as soap star stunners Fiona Wade and Olympia Valance.

However an ITV spokesperson has said that the actual line-up will not be confirmed until the new series launches in November, explaining: “Names suggested at this stage are pure speculation.”

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! returns to ITV later this year, with new spin-off show I’m A Celebrity: Extra Camp airing straight afterwards on ITV2.
