Police have released an image in connection with the theft of an electric bike worth £700.

The theft happened shortly before 5pm on Monday, June 15 on Shakespeare Road in Eastleigh.

Officers believe the man in the picture can help with their enquiries and are now urging him, or anyone who knows who he is, to get in touch with them.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: "Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.

"You can do this by calling 101, or by reporting online via the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary website, quoting incident number 44240255197."
