This Morning guest Iris Jones has responded to her estranged husband's claims she used him as a 'sex slave'.

The 83-year-old grandmother from Weston-Super-Mare found fame after she appeared on the ITV show in 2020 to discuss her Facebook romance with 37-year-old Mohamed Ibriham from Cairo, Egypt.

After Jones revealed they had separated and claimed she gave him thousands of pounds he gave an interview to the Mail Online claiming it was her who had used him.

Jones has now written on Facebook: "I have come to the conclusion that there are only two types of people on this planet. The intelligent ones and the thickos. I'd like to believe that I belonged to a higher order of intelligentsia. If that were so, then why did I succumb to the charms of a sewer rat?"

Addressing his claims more directly she wrote: "You had a lovely home here with every comfort and luxury one could ask for. You had good food. I loved washing and ironing your uniform for work. I even polished your shoes because you were to lazy to do them yourself. You've lost all that Mohamed and you've lost me."

Jones added: "Enjoy your ill-gotten gains and I wish you well for your future, but please no more lies to the media, okay? Good-bye and good luck."

Ibrahim had told the Mail Online: "I treated Iris like a queen, but she used me as a sex slave. I loved her but she broke my heart... "At first she was a good wife. But soon she began treating me like a slave. She was using me for sex.

He denied Jones' claims he took her money, saying: "We helped each other with money, just like any husband and wife."

Jones and Ibriham met on Facebook in 2019 and sparked concern amongst her family when he proposed after just three week and despite the 46 year age gap.

Jones recently claimed in a lengthy post on Facebook that she has paid almost £70,000 to Ibriham since they met, and said their marriage broke down when she told him she could not afford to give him any more money.

The couple married the third time Jones visited him in Egypt in November 2020 and Ibriham moved to live with Jones in Weston-Super-Mare after being granted a three-year-visa in 2021.

Jones appeared on This Morning in January 2020 and told hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield their love was “real and true” and he had agreed to sign a legal document to prove he did not want to lay claim to her money.
