Katie Price caught saying she could 'destroy' ex-husband Alex Reid and that he's 'obsessed' with her

It seems Katie Price and ex-husband Alex Reid don’t quite see eye-to-eye.

Only last week did Katie, 39, come under fire for allegedly showing Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit on the Side audiences sexually explicit phone content of Alex, 42, which led to someone making a formal complaint to the police.

Now it has emerged that the Loose Women panelist once threatened to ‘destroy’ her former lover during a secret audio recording that took place during her Playing With Fire book launch event last October.

According to the Sun, the audio reveals her saying a number of things during a foul-mouthed rant. ‘I think Alex Reid better shut up. Don’t you?’ she began.

‘He must be obsessed with me. I feel sorry for his girlfriend. He must be so obsessed with me and he doesn’t like the fact that I keep saying I could destroy him in seconds and I literally could if you know what I mean.

‘OK? So Alex better shut the f*** up.’

Recorded at the book launch, Katie concluded her rant with: ‘Yeah, carry on, Alex, and I’ll f***ing screw you up is all I’m saying.

‘I don’t know why he’s piping on. I think he’s still in love with me. But he’s got no money; I suppose I’m his income.’

Former hubby Alex has since released a statement regarding the supposed leak and act of ‘revenge porn’, saying: ‘I am very upset that such private matters are once again being aired to the press.

‘I am taking legal action against Katie over her actions and I will not be commenting publicly any further.’

Katie rebuffed on Twitter to deny any of the allegations that she’d shown anyone anything or had even been contacted by police.

The couple, who got married in Las Vegas back in February of 2010, had a bit of a whirlwind romance but split up by January of 2011.
