Stacey Solomon too busy to be Loose Women regular, says Linda Robson
Stacey Solomon has added several new TV shows to her schedule since stepping back from Loose Women in 2022.
Stacey Solomon simply has too jam-packed a schedule to keep up a role as a regular panellist on Loose Women. Fellow contributor Linda Robson said Solomon has so much on that she can't fit the show in.
Solomon hasn't made her usual regular appearances ever since she stepped back 18 months ago for the birth of her fifth child. But since her daughter was born, the 34-year-old TV personality has only occasionally showed up on Loose Women.
Robson told The Sun that Solomon's enormous selection of other commitments, including her new property show Stacey Solomon's Renovation Rescue, has left her unable to spend time with the Loose Women team.
When asked whether Solomon would return as a regular, Robson said: "I don’t think so, but you never know."
She added: "I would love her to come back, she’s a really good Loose Woman — she’s really honest. But I think she’s got too much on. She’s got her own series and her and Joe are out in their little house. She’s still really welcome, but she’s just so busy."
Solomon explained her absence in November 2023 when she briefly returned to the show after Belle — her third child with husband Joe Swash — came along.
She said: "It's been crazy because Belle was a wonderful surprise, but what that meant was that I had to fit my filming schedule into a very short period of time. I've just been up and down the country with Sort Your Life Out and filming another show, so I haven't been able to even get into town."
Solomon first joined the Loose Women panel in 2016 and quickly became one of the most popular regulars on ITV's daytime chat show.
But she has added plenty of strings to her bow when it comes to TV, fronting multiple series of home decluttering show Sort Your Life Out as well as making festive specials under the banner of Stacey Solomon's Crafty Christmas.
