Lisa Armstrong has returned to social media following the news that her ex-husband Ant McPartlin has welcomed his first child with his current wife Anne-Marie Corbett. Ant announced the arrival of newborn Wilder last week.

After Ant announced the news make-up artist Lisa took to her Instagram stories to share a post from another page. It included a quote that read: "Be proud of how you have been handling these past few months. The silent battles you've fought, the moments you've had to humble yourself, the times you've wiped your own tears. Celebrate your strength." She has since shared further posts on her account.

Lisa took to the platform on Tuesday, May 21 to upload a photo, as well as to reshare another quote with her followers. The photo showed four dogs in the back of a car. One of them is believed to be labrador Hurley, whom Lisa is understood to share with her now ex-husband Ant. "Got the band back together," she captioned the post.

The announcement of Wilder's birth came just a day after Lisa marked the fifth anniversary of her late father Derek Armstrong's death last Monday. Derek, known as 'Degs,' passed away, aged 71, on May 13, 2019, following an apparent cancer diagnosis. Britain's Got Talent host Ant and wife Anne-Marie, who has two children from a previous relationship, have been met with well wishes since he shared the news on Instagram.
