Liverpool bank holiday weather with more cloud and rain forecast

It looks like Liverpool is set to see some unsettled weather conditions this bank holiday weekend, according to forecasters.

According to Met Office the city will see mostly cloud and damp conditions, with some brighter spells forecast in parts over the bank holiday weekend. Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 16C degrees on Saturday, but are forecast to drop again from Sunday to Monday, with lows of 13C.

Today forecasters have said Liverpool can expect another cloudy and damp day, with outbreaks of light rain and drizzle. A chance of some brightness towards late-afternoon, mainly in Cheshire and southern parts of Lancashire. Generally cool, though feeling warmer in any late sunshine.

It is expected to remain fairly cloudy this evening and overnight, with some patchy light rain, though a few clearer spells developing at times across the south and east. Mild under cloudy skies. Minimum temperature 8 °C, says Met Office.

It will be a damp and cloudy start on Sunday, though turning drier in the afternoon with some bright and sunny spells breaking through the cloud. Feeling warmer, particularly in any sunshine. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Met Office's outlook for Monday to Wednesday, says some sunshine can finally be expected on Monday, but with showers, some heavy and possibly thundery. Fewer showers on Tuesday. Fine on Wednesday as high pressure builds. Feeling warm in the sunnier interludes.
