What did you miss?

Lorraine Kelly playfully scolded Fred Sirieix when she told him to stay out of the kitchen on his wedding day after the First Dates star kept an eagle-eye on the cooking in the I’m A Celebrity camp.

The groom-to-be has been preparing to get married to his love Fruitcake in Jamaica over the summer and he has been swept up in all of the wedding planning. Naturally as a trained cook, the food is high on Sirieix's wedding priorities.

During his appearance on Lorraine, Sirieix opened up about how "difficult" it has been to choose a caterer from a list of names. "Yesterday I was talking to the wedding planner," he said. "Choosing the caterer is quite difficult." As conversation turned to wedding food, the TV host had no qualms telling the star to stay clear of the kitchen on the big day.

What, how and why?

She told him during the interview: "You know what you are like about your food. Will you be in there when they are all doing it? You are not to be in there on your wedding day." Kelly then had a good giggle with Sirieix.

The First Dates star had agreed that he did "like my food" but he vowed he would not be giving orders in the kitchen on his wedding day and he had no plans of interfering. He said: "No I am not going to do that." But the trained chef did say he knew exactly how he envisions the food.

"I do know what I want," he said. "I want to create a Jamaican festival. So it's all about adding the flames and the smells." He added: "For people to have it in the background. It’s almost a decor but it’s not a decor because it's about what you're going to be eat... It's got to be authentic. It has to be delicious... All specialities from Jamaica. No fancy French food, just Jamaican food tradition."

Kelly acknowledged: "You like things to be done in a certain way." The TV host was referring to when Sirieix clashed with Josie Gibson over the cooking on I'm A Celebrity. During the reality series, the food expert couldn't resist trying to boss his campmate around when she was named head chef. He even compared her cooking to an eighties horror movie and declared it the stuff of "kitchen nightmares".

Unsurprisingly, the cooking rows became one of the big talking points of the jungle reality show. Afterwards, Sirieix admitted his mum scolded him over his behaviour on I'm A Celebrity - meanwhile Gibson and Sirieix reignited their cooking feud on the reunion show.

What else happened on Lorraine?

Sirieix was on Lorraine to promote the upcoming 10th anniversary series of First Dates. Love is in the air as the First Dates star revealed there were more couples to emerge from this series than ever before. "This 10 years anniversary series is actually the best one we’ve done," he said.

He further explained: "I was thinking about it and wondering why. Sometime I was doubting myself. I thought maybe because it’s 10 years, my mind playing tricks. We have moved. We are in bath now. Bath is a historical city. Dates back from the romans. When you are walking in the streets, you can actually hear people talking. It’s very provincial. It’s beautiful. I think it’s very romantic.
