Love Island 2024 may feel like it's only just begun but some fans are already thinking about when it's going to end. Presenter Maya Jama introduced ITV2 viewers to the original stars of season 11's Love Island at the beginning of the month with bombshells dropping in to cause a stir.

From The Only Way Is Essex legend Joey Essex to former Love Islander Olivia Attwood's friend Ronnie Vint, this outing is set to be one to remember. There have been a few rounds of re-couplings so far and while some pairs seem to be very much loved-up, most contestants are still trying to find that all-important connection.

But even with so much drama kicking off every night, fans are curious to know when the finale could air, reports the Express.

When is the Love Island final?

As of yet, ITV2 hasn't announced the exact release date for the Love Island season 11 finale. However, a potential air date can be worked out if the previous series' patterns are anything to go by.

Love Island usually runs for a total of eight weeks so it is assumed that this will also be the case for the 2024 series. Last year, Sammy Root and Jess Harding won the show on July 31 after their series kicked off on June 5.

While the year before saw Ekin-Su Culcuoglu and Davide Sanclimenti win on August 1 with their season premiering eight weeks prior on June 6.

Bearing this in mind, it seems probable that the Love Island season 11 finale is going to air on Monday, July 29. Of course, this hasn't yet been confirmed and as the show progresses, the last episode's release date will become clear.

Once again, there was plenty of drama on Love Island earlier this week as the Islanders found out who the public's favourite couples were. Those who were not among the favourites were left in a vulnerable position as the saved contestants had to dump one boy and one girl from the island.

After some deliberating, the saved contestants picked Tiffany to pack her bags as it wasn't clear who she had an interest in. The second and perhaps more surprising departure was for Omar who had been getting to know newbie Matilda. But Sean, who has also shown interest in Matilda, said it would help him if Omar was "out of the equation", resulting in his dumping.
