Former Married At First Sight (MAFS) UK couple Peggy Lawrence and Georges Berthonneau broke fans' hearts when they announced their split – but their romance has not ended amicably as they are still rowing over who was responsible.
The exes' break up story has been as full of shocking twists and turns as any MAFS episode, with both reality TV stars claiming that the other is to blame.

When did Peggy and Georges split?
Penny and Georges had seemed like one of the strongest couples from the most recent series of Married At First Sight UK, weathering storms over gaming influencer Georges squatting for likes from subscribers and Penny's comments on a hypothetical OnlyFans account.
They stood solid against criticism from other couples on the show and appeared to be enjoying life outside of MAFS, so fans were shocked when earlier this month Penny posted on her Instagram Stories that she had spent Valentine's Day alone because they had split.
She wrote: "I’m so sorry I’ve been quiet on socials everybody but there’s a reason for my silence. Me and Georges are no longer together and I’m absolutely heartbroken.
"It’s affected my mental health and it’s taken me weeks to come to terms with it. But with it being Valentine’s Day, I can’t pretend to be okay. Thank you to everyone who has supported us on our journey… nobody is more upset about it than me."
In a hint of the disagreement to come, Georges also posted on Instagram Stories: "Wasn’t expecting a statement from Peggy regarding this situation. I’m heartbroken by our breakup and also trying to come to terms with life without Peggy.
"I appreciate a lot of you have questions, but I won’t be talking about this situation as of yet. Also thank you for the messages of support." Georges has since claimed that he broke up with her on 30 December.
What has Peggy claimed about Georges?
If the details sounded a little confusing from the pair's original statements, things got even murkier this week as Penny spoke to The Sun about their break up and claimed it had happened because Georges cheated on her.
She alleged that he had been spending time with an ex-girlfriend and that she had believed he was with a male friend who had the same name until she saw a photo of them together.
Penny claimed: "In December he spent three days with his ex-girlfriend which included going to a bottomless bingo, Winter Wonderland and one of these nights he stayed in a hotel."
She also added of the split: "Georges ended things with me on the 30 January so for him to come out and say he was blindsided by my Instagram post is a load of rubbish... I wanted to remain dignified but after he made up all that rubbish about me, I just want everyone to know the truth," she explained. "He left me heartbroken."
What was Georges' response to the cheating rumours?
However, Georges has insisted he did not cheat on Penny, posting his own version of events on Instagram Stories: "A story has come out from The Sun which is factually incorrect in so many ways, the article that has been put out is slander and also image damaging.
"I'm surprised by the depths of which Peggy has gone to lie about our situation when all I gave was love to our relationship. I have never been unfaithful to Peggy, I never lied, and these statements are untrue and leave me heart broken even more than I already am.
"I never wanted our relationship to end and always defended Peggy even when her actions were unacceptable but these actions have proved that the relationship ending was the best thing for me."
But Penny, also posting on Instagram, simply wrote: "Time is a great healer and revealer."
