A man was found hiding under a bed as he tried to evade police. Officers were called out to Wythenshawe this morning (July 2) following reports of a domestic incident.

Greater Manchester Police says its officers searched for the suspect at a property on Heybrook Road. While police attended, the man tried to avoid officers by hiding underneath a bunk bed.

The elaborate attempt to avoid officers failed to work though. Police eventually found the 40-year-old man in his hiding place.
