Dozens of police officers remain at a closed off industrial estate following an unexplained death yesterday night.

Merseyside Police has confirmed officers have been at Liverpool Industrial Estate, in Aintree, following the unexplained death of a man last night, Sunday, June 23. A spokesperson for the force told the ECHO emergency services were first called at around 11pm where they found a man in the street.

People continue to turn up for work on the estate but are being turned away with a majority of the estate closed.

Business owners and store managers are having to wait close to the scene. A police officer at the scene said the scene is likely to be in place for the "majority of the day".
