Man rushed to hospital after car flips onto roof on busy Scots road

A man was rushed to hospital after a car flipped onto its roof following a two-vehicle crash on a busy Scots road.

The smash happened on the A985 between Rosyth and Crombie at around 8.35am this morning, Saturday, June, 29.

The man was taken to hospital in an ambulance but no more information is available on his condition at this stage.

An image from the scene shows the vehicle on its roof after the incident.

Another shows an ambulance parked on the road, as a police officer stands nearby.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 8.35am on Saturday, 29 June, 2024, police were called to a two car road crash on the A985 between Rosyth and Crombie.

"Emergency services attended and one man was taken to hospital to be checked over.

"The road was partially blocked while the vehicles were uplifted."
